Orlando Bloom and his wife, Miranda Kerr announced the birth of their son on January 7, 2011. No name or weight information has been released so far.
Miranda Kerr was born on April 20, 1983. She was born in Sydney, Australia and raised in the small town, Gunnedah, New South Wales. She is known for being the "Victoria's Secret" angel in 2007. She is the very first Australian to work with the company. In late 2007, it was reported that Miranda was dating, actor Orlando Bloom.
The couple had announced their engagement on June 2o, 2010 and married in a very private ceremony a month later, on July 22, 2010.
Orlando Bloom was born in Canterbury, Kent, England on January 13, 1977. His father was a political activist for South Africa. His first film was "Wilde" in 1997. In 1998, Mr Bloom had fallen from a rooftop terrace and broke his back while acting in a play at Guildhall. Director, Peter Jackson was in the audience one night and saw the performance of Orlando and hired him for the "Lord of the Rings" triology. He had graduated from the prestigious acting school in London, "Guildhall"
in 1999. His first feature film was in 1999, "Lord of the Rings" playing the role as Legolas. Mr Bloom is a dog lover and rescued a Saluki mix, named Sidi. The dog is part Persian Greyhound.
