Jon Stewart Not Only Likes to Make People Laugh, but He likes to Help People Too: He Just Joined the 911 Memorial Board

John Stewart was born in New York City on November 28, 1962. His birth name was, Jonathan Stewart Leibowitz. His mom was an education consultant and his father a professor.
John grew up in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He had worked many low paying jobs, such as; a bus boy or stock boy before he made his success at comedy. He worked hard at his career in comedy. For two years he had the last act every night at the Comedy Cellar in New York City. In 1989 Jon Stewart got his first job in TV as a comedy writer for, "Caroline's Comedy Hour." In 1993,
Jon got his first show on MTV. In April 2010, his contract for Comedy Centrals," Daily Show,"
was renewed until 2013.
It was just announced that comedienne, John Stewart had joined the 911 Memorial Board. Mr Stewart lives in the area where the tragedy took place. He joins a powerful group of New Yorkers; including Robert DeNiro and some of the family members of victims to this terrible tragedy. It is wonderful that he is using his star power for such a good cause.
