Stan Lee and Jack Kirby had created the "Fantastic Four." They are part of the Marvel Comics empire. The four characters in the Fantastic Four are: Mr Fantastic, Sue Storm the Invisible Woman, The Thing and Human Torch. Human Torch was introduced in August 1961. Issue number 588 is the final issue with the character, Human Torch. The reason for the change is that it is, 'the part of human evolution.' One of the company representatives stated, 'this is not necessarily the end. There is the after life, and who knows what may happen.' It is the comics you know and anything can happen.
