Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson was born in Santa Barbara, California on October 25, 1984. She was raised by christian pastor parents. While growing up Katy listened to a lot of gospel music and sang a lot in the church. She knew that she wanted to pursue music when when was a freshman in high school. She decided to take the GED in order to drop out of school to pursue a career in music. His first album went under the name of Katy Hudson. She had a remarkable year in 2010 with hit songs, getting married to Russell Brand on October 23, 2010 and being chosen Maxim's number one hottest women. She was voted number one. Katy didn't always have it easy. In a recent interview she stated that she had her car repossessed twice. That is all behind her. She is an extremely talented young 26 year old who has a long bright future ahead.
