Ricky Gervais was a guest on "Piers Morgan's Tonight" on CNN. The focus of the discussion was to set the record straight about the comments that Ricky gave as a host for the,"Golden Globe" awards. He clearly had insulted some of the celebrities, but he had no apologies His take on it was that it is comedy and he is not going to change himself. The script that he had used the night of the awards was not previewed by anyone from the Golden Globes. 'If they didn't want me then they shouldn't have hired me.' That is one of the comments that Mr Gervais had made about the authorities at the Golden Globes. Piers had described the celebrities as, "delicate little flowers" and asked Gervaise, 'was it right to make jokes referring to some of them?' Gervais had said, 'I am not going to apologize, I am going to stay true to myself.'
