Steven Tyler was born, Stephen Victo Vallarico in Yonkers, New York on March 26, 1948. He is 62 years old. He grew up in Boston and in 1964 got started in the music industry. At one point he had a heavy drug addition and has stayed clean for 20 years. He is known for the Boston based group, Aerosmith.
Jennifer Lopez was born in the Castle Hill part of the Bronx, New York on July 24, 1969. She is 41 years old. She got her break in the entertainment industry as a dancer for, the TV show, "In Living Color."
"American Idol" new judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. The entire cast from the show were guests on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno. The cast had reported that they were surprised that there was a lot of talent in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They are focused on a younger group of talented people. Kids between 15 and 25 was ideal for them. Steven Tyler had admitted that he never saw the show before he signed up for being a judge. He will also be going on tour with his group, Aerosmith in 2011.
Jennifer Lopez had pointed out that she is looking for the complete package. She wants to see talent that will last.
