Matt LeBlanc was born on July 25, 1967 in Newton, Massachusetts. His mother was an office manager, and his dad a mechanic. He started to model for print and TV ads for; Heinze, Coke, and 7up. His first job on TV was for the TV show called, "TV101."
He is mostly known for playing Joey Tribbiana on the hit TV show, "Friends." The show had aired from to . Following "Friends" he launched his own show on NBC called, "Joey." The show did not do well and was canceled. Now Matt is back with his own show again. This time it will air on the cable channel, Showtime. It is called,
"Episodes." It is British fictional TV series that is made for an American audience. The show is a comdey and is written by "Friends" co-creator David Crane and is filmed in London. Matt Leblanc plays himself, Stephan Morgan and Tamsin Grieg also star on the show. The thirty minute "Episodes," will premiere on Sunday January 9,2011 on Showtime. It airs just before "Californication."
On a personal note, Matt had been married once. His marriage was in 2003-October 6, 2006 to ex-model Melissa McKnight. The couple have a daughter, Marina who is reported to have dyspepsia. He is currently single.
