Kelsey Grammar was born in St Thomas and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He lives in New York and LA. He recently had told Wendy Williams that when he was in school he wore a wig because he was not supposed to have long hair. He would hide his long hair under the wig so he did not break the rules. He also confirmed that he did not expect a "Frasier" reunion. He has a new young lady in his life, Kayte Walsh, a former airline hostess, who he is very happy with. He is 55 years old and she is 29 and from England. Mr Grammar is quoted as saying that, "they have a lot to look forward in the future, and that they have great plans ahead!"
