The coronor's report was released today indicated that the bathing suit designer, Sylvie Cachy was strangled and drowned at the Soho hotel. She was only 33 years old and was a former designer for Victoria's Secret. Most recently she had launched her own collection until she ran out of money.
Nicholas Brooks, son of song writer James Brooks who wrote, "You Light Up My Light." was arrested later the same day under suspicions that he murdered her. James Brooks was accused of sexual assault. Now his son, Nicholas is in trouble. He was with her the night she was found in the Soho hotel dead. The couple had dated and most recently Sylvie broke up with Mr Brooks. Her mother stated that the relationship would not have worked out for he did not have a job.
