Janet Damita Jo Jackson was born on May 16, 1966 in Gary, Indiana.  She is the youngest child of the famous Jackson family. She is a singer, songwriter, dancer and record producer.  She started her career in 1973 at the age of 7, when she performed with her brothers in Las Vegas at the MGM Casino. In 1976 she appeared on the show, The Jacksons (see picture above).  In 1977 she was on the hit show, Good Times and 1982 Fame. Janet Jackson looked radiant on her recent interview with Piers Morgan on CNN.  She talked about her brother and the relationship with the rest of her family. She was very close to Michael and had a hard time of dealing with his death. She expressed, 'my father loves me, but he has a very different way of showing it.' Janet Jackson has sold more than 100 million records to date.
