World champion figure skater and Olympic Gold Medal winner, Kristi was born July 12, 1971.

Even though Kristi was born with "club feet" and had to wear casts and special shoes during her babyhood, her perseverance, dedication and sensitivity to music and dance propelled her into the skating world.
