Jennifer Hudson was born in Chicago, Illinois on Sept 12, 1981. She started to sing at the age of 7 in her local church. Just before she was on American Idol, Jennifer had worked singing on the Disney cruises. In 2004 she was a finalist on, "American Idol" coming in at 7th place. In 2006 she landed a deal to be in "Dreamgirls" and won an Emmy and a Grammy for her role. Sadly, in 2008, Jennifer's mother who was 57 years old, brother who was 29 and nephew were murdered in Chicago on the same day. It took Jennifer a good three months to get back out working again. Since then she has been very busy with her career. She is even friends with President Barack Obama.
Jennifer is now married to David Otunga, who has a Law Degree from Harvard. They have one child with the same name, and 3 Pomerians named; Dreamgirl, Oscar, and Grammy.
It is hard to find out what the real story is regarding Jenifer Hudson's weight loss.
Some people had reported that she was once a size 22 and in May, 2010 "People" magazine had reported that that she lost a total of 60 pounds going from a size 16 to a size 6. That was 7 months ago and Jenifer even looks thinner than the photos featured in "People." Jennifer must be a size 2 now. Whatever the story is, she looks absolutely fantastic! She has an incredible voice and looks so beautiful. It is awesome to see how she has done so well with her career and weight loss. She is a wonderful inspiration.
