Matt Damon was a guest on the Tonight show with Jay Leno on March 1, 2011. He discussed how he liked living in New York City with his wife and 4 kids.  He pointed out that it is much easier to get around than drinving in L.A.  Mr Damon told a Jay a story about the night he wanted to buy a case of wine that was on sale at a liquor store that is across the street from where he lives in Manhattan. He went into the store and gave his credit card to buy the case that cost around 1200 dollars. He gave the clerk in the store his credit card and the guy went to the back of the store with the card. When he returned, he said that he could not accept the credit card and had asked for cash. Matt refused to pay cash because it was too much to have on hand.  The point is that the clerk did not believe that it was Matt Damon and would not allow him to use the credit card.  Matt later went into the store with a magazine to show that it was him, and the clerk still did not care.  Matt also came on the Tonight Show with a bouquet of flowers for Betty White. He also had talked about doing the new feature fillm about Liberace with Michael Douglas. He said that when he saw Michael recently, he whispered,'get your chapstick ready.' for he will be playing Liberace's lover, and Liberace will be played by, Michael Douglas.
