Later, he joined Jeff Beck in 1968 and "Faces" afterwords. By 1975, Keith Richards had asked Mr Wood to join the Rolling Stones He has been with the group non-stop since then. He is now 63 years old, and knows about drug and alcohol addiction for he has battled substance abuse for the last 30 years. He had been in and out of rehab 7 different times. Ron had told, "Uncut Magazine," 'Jesse's going through rehab and we are helping each other. I am over 8 months clean and good with it. Boredom is a killer, as it is the idea that I can always have one drink. Once I get rid of that I can take my life back and be more focused at everything; my music and my painting.' Mr Wood's son Jessie now has to go thru rehb and Ron is there to be supportive.

As for Ron Wood and the Rolling Stones; he does stay in touch with the old band members. 'Charlie is playing jazz around the world. Keith is busy playing pirate and enjoying life with Johnny Depp, and Mick hasn't seen Wood for awhile.' As for doing a final concert. Ron said, that he has heard that for many years, but there area no plans of a breakup.' We wish only the best for Ron and Jesse to survive this horrible disease.
