Mario is a chef, writer, restaurateur, and media personality. He
attended Rutgers University, majoring in Spanish language, theatre, and
economics. His bio says that while in college, he worked as a dishwasher
and pizza man, and after college served as an apprentice at the Kitchens
of La Volta in Italy, mastering the traditional style of Italian
cooking. He has opened several restaurants in Las Vegas, had a contract
with the Food Network doing his show called "Molto Mario", and currently
is featured n the PBS show "Spain...On the Road Again".
