Harry Connick, Jr. (Virgo) born September 11, 1967.
Singer, actor, composer and pianist, Harry learned to play the keyboards
at age three, played publicly at age 6, and recorded with a jazz band,
and performed with the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra at age 10. His
many talents were developed at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts,
and then studied at Hunter College and Manhattan School of Music. His
first album was an instrumental of standards, soon acquired a reputation
in jazz, and won his first Grammy for Best Jazz Male Vocal Performance
for providing the soundtrack for the movie "When Harry Met Sally". He
played a lead role in the movie "Hope Floats", and his newest album is
"Your Songs".
Harry's planetary profile and cosmic connections show a vital energy
that is bent upon achieving perfection, pays close attention to details,
has ability to learn very complicated techniques, and wants to thoroughly
analyze anything and everything he would be interested in. His vital
energy is also closely aligned with the urge for complete control over
his creations, and with the urge for bringing originality, brilliance,
and exhilarating excitement into his life work, which shows up in his
early recognition as a musical genius. His emotional nature can be very
optimistic, cheerful and buoyant, and he would have the desire to learn
broad, deep subjects to enlarge his scope of understanding of the world.
He can also be quite emotionally intense at times, and at other times
quite restless or changeable when it comes to his feelings. Harry's
mindset has the quality of expressing harmony and cooperativeness, with
a high atonement to the sociable side of life, ever seeking to bring
balance, refinement, and elegance to his environment. His artistic
impulse is to create a playful, entertaining and dramatic atmosphere,
where everyone has fun and enjoys the showmanship he brings to his
venues. When Harry sets out to pursue his goals, he has very high
expectations and is an idealist in all that he wants to accomplish. He
would have the desire to seek out and learn about a variety of subjects,
would enjoy travel at home and abroad, and may want to educate others,
promote and publish whatever he has learned over the years. His
abundant stamina allows him to be the pioneer who pushes onward with
optimism and confidence that all will turn out well.
For the year 2010, Harry may be pressed to redefine his intellectual
goals, and is also in line for some good opportunities to expand his
pioneering spirit.
