Sarah Fergusen AKA Fergie Has Title, but No Clout: Duchess of York, was not Invited to Kate Middleton and Prince William wedding

Sarah Fergusen, Duchess of York
Sarah Fergusen, Duchess of York still has her title, but no clout because she was not included on the list of 1900
people who were invited to the royal wedding on April 29, 2010.   The list includes; friends, family, charity workers, and dignitaries. There was talk suggesting that if she were invited that she would have to sit in the back of  Westminster Abbey, while her two daughters would sit in the front. Could this be too embarrassing for her?  Fergie said she did not expect to be invited, and if she were, she would have been out of the country anyway, and would not have been able to attend.

Princess Diana and Bruce Oldfield
Bruce Oldfield did not know his parents. He was given up when he was only 2 days old. He was raised in Dr Barnados Orphanage in England He had attended the Ripon Grammar school and Ravensbourne and St Martins Art Colleges.  He opened his first place of business in 1975 and by 1984 had opened up a London boutique. The Daily Mail had reported seeing Kate Middleton's mother and sister, Pippa in his store last week.  It is clear that Mr Oldfield was one of Princess Diana's favorite designers, and it is likely that he will be the guy to design the dress for Kate Middleton.  Mr Oldfield has a very elegant and understated way of designing.  He uses a lot of  crepe and lace for his wedding gowns.

NO Glass Carriage for Kate Middleton to the Alter with Prince William

Diana arrived at St. Paul's Cathedral in a glass coach, escorted by five mounted military police officers. The carriage was too small to comfortably hold Diana's father and Diana in her dress and train.
Diana's wedding dress was a puff ball meringue wedding dress, with huge puffed sleeves and a frilly neckline. The dress was made of silk taffeta, decorated with lace, hand embroidery, sequins, and 10,000 pearls. It was designed by Elizabeth and David Emanuel, and had a 25-foot train.

After the wedding Princess Diana and Prince Charles in horse carriage. Kate Middleton and Prince William will ride in this same carriage after the wedding ceremony.

Kate Middleton's wedding will be much different from that of Princess Diana when she married Prince Charles. Reports from London are stating that the glass carriage that Princess Diana used for her wedding will not be used to take Kate Middleton. Ms. Middlton's father is going to drive her to the alter instead. This is another message that is being issued to show how the royalty is cutting down in expenses. There were also some suggestions that because the wedding is in April and the weather would be much colder may have something to do with it. Someone had gone so far as to suggest that it was because of Kate's hair and makeup that she did not want to ride in a carriage for a carriage could possibly mess up her hair and makeup.
However, after the nuptials the couple will ride in a carriage together. It is the same one featured here with Princess Diana and Prince Charles.
