Jay Leno is Going to Harvard: He will receive the "Hasty Pudding" award for his contribution to entertainment

It was just announced that Jay Leno will be receiving the Hasty pudding award at Harvard University for the man of the year. He was cited as a being a TV icon and a dedicated live performer. He will have to go to Harvard on February 4, 2011. He will be roasted in a theatre on campus. Juliane Moore will be the female actress to receive one for the "woman of the year" The Hasty Pudding award was established in 1795.

Biography

The one of the famous celebrities James Douglas Muir "Jay" Leno is an American stand-up slapstick comedian and television host. Begin 1992 to 2009, Leno was the host of NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Beginning in September 2009, Leno started a primetime talk show, titled The Jay Leno Show, which aired weeknights at 10:00 p.m. (Eastern Time, UTC-5), also on NBC. After The Jay Leno Show was cancelled in January 2010 amid a host disagreement, Leno revisited to host The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on March 1, 2010.

Jay Leno (Taurus) date of birth April 28, 1950.

Jay's bio says he was a non-stop talker even as a child, keeping his family in stitches, and his classmates laughing at his jokes. He majored in speech at Emerson College, then travelled around the country performing stand-up comedy in nightclubs. Jay started hosting "The
Tonight Show" in 1992, appeared in several films, and has written a children's book "If Roast Beef Could Fly". He starts his new comedy show
on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009.

Jay's astrological birthchart shows that he was born to raise the
spirits of the world with good, clean, high-spirited fun, and a cheerful
optimistic style. In his professional life, Jay is an idealist, with a
tolerant view of all that is going on around him, and he would have a
deep need to "transform and uplift" whatever or whoever has been "put
down". His vital energy (Sun) is earthy and solid, with a placid and
magnanimous way of showing his ego. Jay's emotional nature can be quite
fussy and complicated, but he would be quite skilled at carefully taking
things apart to fix or rearrange them. His mind is earthly quick,
