Tyra Banks: Super Model to Harvard Student: now a member of the Harvard Club

Tyra Banks was born on December 4, 1973 in Inglewood, California.  Her parents divorced when she was only 6 years old. In 11th grade, she had started to model and went to Paris for runway shows with leading designers.  She was the first black model to sport the covers of GQ magazine and the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. By May, 2005 she had retired from modeling and focused on being on TV and in films.  She had launched, Bankable productions and produced, America's Next Top Model.  She also had launced a syndicated talk show focusing on topics for younger viewers. She had been in music videos including; Michael Jackson's, "Black and White," George Michael's, "Too Funky," and Lionel Richie's, "Don't Wanna Lose You." She also had been in 10 feature films; her last, "Hannah Montana, the Movie" in 2009.
Tyra's latest gig has been college at Harvard. She had enrolled into a special 3 year business program that is offered to executives.  She was interviewed by CBS, "This Morning," and stated that she loved learning about business.  She also mentioned her new website, TypeF.
