Whoopi Goldberg Took a Bus From New York City to Chicago to be on "Oprah" : She Hates to Fly

Caryn Elaine Johnson AKA,Whoopi Goldberg was born on November 13, 1955 in New York City. She grew up in the Chelsea part of Manhattan. She was married 3 times and has 1 daughter, Alexandra, and has 2 grand children. Prior to her success  in entertainment she has been  a brick layer, and worked in a funeral home applying  makeup on corpses.   She has been in a series of feature films and TV shows.  She is a regular on, the View.  Her first big break in the film industry was in 1985  for  the Color Purple.
Whoopi disclosed on the View that she is going to be a guest on Oprah in Chicago and was going to take a bus to get there. She was leaving around 5p.m. Thursday eve. from New York City to be in Chicago on time for the 9 a.m. taping of the  Oprah show.  Her excuse for the bus was that she had a fear of flying , and she has been under the weather too.  The bus will allow her to sleep while she is in transit.
